Our guest speaker will be Kathrin Day Lassila, Yale ’81, Editor of the Yale Alumni Magazine. Kathrin will talk about the inherent challenges of publishing an “in-house” magazine and retaining editorial independence and credibility. She will also discuss the impact of social media on traditional journalism.  The Yale Alumni Magazine is an alumni magazine about Yale University. It was founded in 1891. It is independent from the university, and is governed and published by a corporation, Yale Alumni Publications, Inc.

Our Club's annual two-part lecture series is generously hosted by Northern Trust Bank (Larson Room,4th Floor, 4001 Tamiami Trail N., Naples, FL 34103).  After each lecture, Northern Trust serves wine, soft drinks and delicious hors d'oeuvres.  Remember, every penny of profit from the lectures goes to the Club's endowment for scholarships and aid to Southwest Florida students who attend Yale. Your admittance fee of $30 is fully tax deductible. We also suggest that you consider adding $50 or $100 to your payment as an additional contribution to our endowment.  Click on the link below to buy tickets for the Lecture Series!
