| The Yale Club of Southwest Florida is a
not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization through which alumni/ae of Yale
University, parents, faculty and other interested persons in Southwest Florida
may contribute to the welfare of Yale University by participating in programs
and activities which maintain and develop mutual understanding between the
university and its constituencies. To this end the Club promotes
socialization among its members, raises funds for the benefit of scholarships at
Yale, seeks out and recruits qualified students to apply to Yale, sponsors
educational programs, and undertakes other activities which support the
University.
Yale Club members, their spouses, family, friends or trusts may now create an Individual Memorial Scholarship Fund in the name of a deceased member, a foundation, or a trust with a single contribution of $25,000 or more. This will establish an individual scholarship fund, and each year in perpetuity the proceeds of this Fund will contribute to Yale University in the individual name in support of scholarship. This one time contribution may be added to at any time and is tax deductible. |
